When a person enters John 3:17 Ministry, how long must she stay?
This program is a full year, 12 months, with no exceptions. The success rate for those who graduate is around 80%. The success rate drops to 10% for those who leave the program early.
Can a resident have visitors?
The first 30 days is a “black out.” No visitors, no letters, no phone calls. After 30 days, select visitors can come on Sunday at 10 AM, go to church services with the residents, have potluck lunch and remain until 3 PM. After 30 days, residents can also have one, 10-minute phone call per week.

John 3:17 Ministry is a faith-based program. Change must come from the inside out. We believe that Jesus is the answer, and our Almighty God is the healer.
How much does it cost?
It is free with the exception of a $50 non-refundable processing fee. If a person can not pay the fee, someone will cover the cost for them.
What does a typical day at John 3:17 look like?
Wake up at 6:30 AM, breakfast, exercise, chores, bible study (quiet time), lunch, two-hour bible class, Celebrate Recovery meeting or church, fellowship, and lights out at 10:30 PM.
Are there restrictions on caffeine and nicotine?
Yes. John 3:17 is a non-smoking facility. Smoking will always carry with it a consequence that is unpleasant and can result in dismissal. Caffeine is limited to one cup of coffee in the morning and one cup before bible class in the afternoon.
